Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman

Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman are a British folk duo made up of Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman. Roberts sings and plays piano and woodwind, while Lakeman plays guitar. Both have performed widely in different settings across the British folk scene.

Career

The duo build on a background of work in modern British folk and are known for an intimate style and an eclectic repertoire. After a period in which they curtail duo performances, they return in 2012 after almost a decade with the album Hidden People, which is described as critically acclaimed.
