The ethos of the festival is to create a space for a gathering of like minded party people, a unique, underground, alternative festival experience with a limited capacity, so that it’s intimate enough to become friends with your fellow revellers, yet just big enough to bring you the best in local, national and international talent. We may be a small festival, but we have a massive appreciation for great music!

Our intention is to invoke the values of original music festivals and parties - home-grown, great value for money and without commercial influence. All we want is to see smiling faces and for everyone who comes to have a good time.

Moovin takes place on the eco-friendly Whitebotham farm in the stunning countryside in Compstall, the walk from the car park to the site in itself is gorgeous, through a magical canopy of trees, past a lake with waterfowl greeting you, and a breathtaking gorge welcoming you at the entrance.

There are several performance areas, including the Barn Stage, a large open sided cow shed, with bales of hay for cosy country chill out, or frolicking in, and sound systems guaranteed to knock your festival wellies or flip flops off. With a diversity of entertainment and activities all day, and a healing haven also on site, for much needed recovery and rejuvination, we intend to immerse people in an interactive musical and sensory experience . Plus there will be a delicious selection of food from local businesses to keep you going.

Our mission is to bring the very best festival experience whilst still remaining unique, underground, cool, supportive to the local community, and affordable to everyone.
