About Moovin Festival
Whitebottom Farm, Etherow Country Park, Stockport, is the site. From 11-13 June 2027 it takes Moovin Festival, an 18+ music festival with capacity around 5,000. The event started in 2014 with a few hundred people and works to a deliberately limited capacity.
The music leans into bass, funk, soul, reggae, house and drum & bass. The festival took a break in 2020, and by 2026 it was in its eleventh year.
Lineup and Programme
The bill runs across The Barn, The Udder One, Mini Moo, Tent on the Hill and The Last Resort. Three are main stages and two are smaller stages, with other spaces around the farm.
The Barn is the main barn stage, with a permanent stage, indoor and outdoor dance space and hay-bale seating. Away from the stages, the programme includes yoga, gong baths and silent disco after hours.
Who Is It For?
Moovin is 18+ only. The crowd is adult and music-focused rather than family-oriented, with an R U 25 ID policy at the gate.
Its limited capacity and no-VIP setup put it closer to a small boutique weekender than a large city festival. On-site stays are part of the setup through camping, glamping bell tents and motorhome options.
The Venue and Site
Whitebottom Farm sits within Etherow Country Park at Compstall, near Stockport. The site uses the farm setting directly, led by The Barn and its indoor/outdoor dance space.
Facilities include hot showers, proper toilets, water points, phone charging, bars and food vendors. There is no cash machine on site, though cash-back is available at the bars.
