Dust Junkys is a Manchester, United Kingdom group active from 1995 to 1998. The line-up centres on MC Tunes, also known as Nicky Lockett, who previously fronts 808 State and features on the Top 20 singles “The Only Rhyme That Bites” and “Tunes Splits the Atom.”

Career and recordings

Dust Junkys builds its early reputation on the road circuit around Manchester while it struggles to secure a record deal. It later signs to Polydor in 1998 and debuts with the single “What Time Is It?” The group then releases its debut album, Done and Dusted, in 1998.
