About Firevolt Rock Festival

At Whitebottom Farm in Stockport, Firevolt Rock Festival 2027 puts rock, metal and alternative music on a site capped at 3,000 per day. It began in 2022. The 2027 edition starts with a pre-festival party on Thursday 12 August, before the main festival runs from Friday 13 August to Sunday 15 August 2027.

Lineup and Programme

The programme uses the Bludsucker Stage and Trooper Stage for rock/metal/alternative bills. No clashes are scheduled. Official bookers' information sets the run at 9 bands a day, 27 in total, with live bands across the main weekend and a Thursday pre-festival barn party.

On site, the weekend also covers camping and glamping, the bar token system and food or retail vendors. The two-stage format is the confirmed arena setup.

Who Is It For?

The crowd is open age, built around rock, metal and alternative audiences. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ at all times. Discounted child tickets apply to ages 14 and under, and the site notes deep-water hazards requiring child supervision.

The Venue and Site

Whitebottom Farm sits in Etherow Country Park, Compstall, Stockport. Festival access is via Montagu Street. Camping, glamping and motorhome/campervan/caravan options are listed, with camping and parking booked separately.

The site has a permanent flushing toilet block, a shower block with changing rooms and accessible toilets, drinking water points and a designated Elsan point. Showers open daily from 7am to 11am.

Travel

• Rail: Romiley Station is an official local station, around 40 minutes' walk to the off-site car park, with bus 383 or taxi links to Compstall Village.
• Rail: Marple Station is an official local station, around 21 minutes' walk to the off-site car park, with bus 383 or taxi links to Compstall Village.
• Main station: Stockport Station is named by the festival as the nearest main station.
• Road access: Festival access runs via Montagu Street, with security at the end of the street.
• Parking: The off-site car park uses SK6 5HH on Compstall Road, behind VIP Pet Supplies, and includes the shuttle bus. On-site parking is limited to approved Blue Badge holders.
