In its 36th year Warwick Folk Festival is a celebration of folk culture including music, dance, ceilidhs, crafts and more. The festival takes over the town and has plenty of opportunities for visitors of all ages. Free camping is available for weekend ticket holders and with so many years history the organisers behind the festival work to make it more inviting and more enjoyable year on year.

In 2015 many acts have already been confirmed including Billy Bragg, Lil’ Jimmy Reed Band, Nancy Kerr and The Sweet Visitor Band, Melrose Quartet, The Mischa MacPherson Trio, Boundless Brothers, Panic Circus, Jan Edgecombe’s Blackboard Van, Jeff Warner, Dearest Home, Ursula Holden-Gill, Patrick Ryan, Roseanna Ball, Jess Morgan, Jim Mageean, Emma and the Professor, Matt Hernandez, Sue Brown and Lorraine Irwing, Floot Street, Graeme Knights, The Harvesters, Graham Sutherland, The Folly Brothers, The Arrowsmiths, Lucy Anne Sale, Julie Neale and Winter Wilson.

The concerts are just one part of the festival as workshops and ceilidhs also take place in The Guy Nelson Hall and there is also a children’s programme to look out for. The Warwick organisers also make considerable effort across the area to organise a lively Fringe Festival around the event.
