Polly Barrett begins her music career as a busker on the streets of Cork City. She writes mellow, folksy songs and sings with a clear, easy voice. Her material reflects an interest in nature and in matters of the heart.

Her debut album, Mr. Bookshop, appears in 2011. She works in an acoustic folk-pop style.
