Swansea Beach is the setting for Tunes On The Bay 2027 in Swansea, Wales, a music festival built around pop, dance and electronic music. The event was presented as Swansea's first ever beach festival when its inaugural edition ran over the early May bank holiday in 2025. Capacity is listed at up to 10,000.

Lineup and Programme

The bill takes in pop and dance music, then moves through electronic, house, garage, indie rock and hard dance. It runs on the Main Stage. Live music performances run alongside VIP viewing and on-site food and drink.

Who Is It For?

The audience is mixed, with Friday set up for families, Saturday for ages 14 and over, and Sunday for adults only. Under-5s are free on Friday; ages 5-17 need a valid ticket and a responsible adult. Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult, with a maximum of two under-18s per adult, and Challenge 21 applies for alcohol purchases.

The site sits on Swansea Bay, with the main entrance on Mumbles Road opposite Bay View Bar & Thai Dining, SA1 3UL. There is no on-site camping included. Food and drink vendors and a fully licensed bar operate on site. Refill stations are listed for reusable water bottles. Accessible tickets and facility requests run through Access Card / DAP, with companion ticket support for carers. VIP access adds a private bar, loos and a higher viewing platform.

Swansea High Street is the closest listed rail station, approximately 2 km from Swansea Beach.

• Road: access routes are listed via Mumbles Road, Guild Hall Rd South and Brynmill Lane.
• Entrance: Mumbles Road opposite Bay View Bar & Thai Dining, SA1 3UL.
• Parking: event parking is listed at Recreation Ground, SA2 0AU, at £10 per car per day and around 800 m from the entrance. The festival site also states there is no official festival car parking and no park-and-ride.
