Eddie Halliwell
Eddie Halliwell is a DJ associated with trance, techno, house and electro. He is known for an energetic style that combines lightning-fast cuts, effects and scratching, and for playing across a broad range of electronic dance music. His work is often described in terms of technical skill and crowd reading, and he is recognised as an innovator in the use of DJ technology.
Career
Halliwell reaches a wide audience through club and festival performances, including headline appearances at events such as Sunrise Festival in Poland, Wet Electric OC, Global Gathering and Creamfields. He also performs as a resident at Cream Ibiza, where he appears alongside Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke and Paul Van Dyk. His ED-IT concept show, an approach built around DJing with integrated new technology, becomes a notable part of his profile and helps establish his reputation at Creamfields.
Radio and recordings
He presents a BBC Radio 1 show and records a series of Essential Mixes, with seven in total and an eighth recorded at Creamfields in 2011. He also broadcasts internationally through the syndicated radio show Fire It Up Radio, which reaches an audience of over 11 million listeners.

Halliwell launches the label FIUR and releases his debut track, Neon, as part of that project. His output sits within the wider trance and techno scene, while also drawing on house and electro.
