About FearFest
FearFest reaches its 14th instalment in 2026, putting its first edition around 2013. The Halloween music event runs on Saturday 31 October at Owlerton Greyhound Stadium in Sheffield, with hours from 1:00pm to 11:00pm. Last entry is 4:30pm.
The 2026 edition moves into Owlerton, a greyhound stadium on Penistone Road in Hillsborough with a 4,000-spectator capacity. Tickets start at £40 plus booking fee.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into bassline, drum and bass, house and tech house, split across Wired Stage, Danza Stage and The Sound of Bassline Stage. DJs run the arenas.
Halloween staging is part of the format. Fairground rides, scare actors and dancers work through the venue alongside the music.
Who Is It For?
FearFest 2026 is 18+. The crowd is an adult Halloween rave crowd rather than a family festival, built around dance music and arena-hopping through the afternoon and evening.
The music focus is house, drum and bass, bassline and tech house. The event runs as a single day.
The Venue and Site
Owlerton Greyhound Stadium sits on Penistone Road in Hillsborough, about five minutes from Sheffield city centre. The venue includes three bars, a fast-food snack bar and the Panorama Restaurant.
Practical facilities include accessible facilities, a defibrillator and fully stocked medical room, secure bicycle storage and four rapid EV charging points. The on-site car park has more than 400 spaces.
