Will Atkinson
Will Atkinson is a trance producer and engineer from Glasgow, born in 1990. He works in trance, including tech trance, progressive trance, uplifting trance and melodic styles, and is associated with Kearnage Recordings.
Career
He emerges in 2008 and quickly builds a profile in the trance scene. His debut release is Cloud Surfing, a track that receives worldwide support, strong magazine reviews and high sales, and is widely regarded as a major trance record of its period. He is frequently played on Radio 1 dance shows and attracts support from DJs including Judge Jules, Sander Van Doorn, Scot Project and Marco V.
Style and influences
His music draws on progressive house, trance and funky techno in his DJ sets, while his productions range from techier material such as Or Else What to more euphoric tracks such as Cloud Surfing. He is influenced by Judge Jules, Fergie, Simon Patterson and Cirez D.
