About Sunshine Music Festival
Sunshine Music Festival returns to Fish Meadow, Upton upon Severn over the August Bank Holiday weekend, running from 27 to 30 August 2027.
The 2027 edition is billed as The Greatest Hits, celebrating 17 years of Sunshine at Fish Meadow since the festival began in 2010. Over that time, more than 100,000 people have attended.
What sets Sunshine apart from many festivals of a similar size is the depth of its bill. Rather than leaning on one or two big headliners with filler underneath, the festival is built around a broad programme of established, recognisable artists right through the weekend, across every stage and multiple genres.
Lineup and Programme
Artists announced so far for 2027 include Suzi Quatro, Stereo MCs, Incognito, Sleeper, The Soup Dragons, The Skids, The Beat and Chesney Hawkes, with plenty more still to be announced.
Musically, Sunshine is deliberately broad. Rock, indie and pop are all part of the mix, but so are dance, funk, soul, jazz and more, which is a big part of why the festival draws such a wide age range.
Four stages make up the arena: the Main Stage, Mello Stage, Westons Stage and Arts Stage. The Arts Stage hosts arts and crafts alongside grassroots performances, while the wider site offers kids' activities, supervised family entertainment, BMX stunt shows and fancy-dress themed days.
Who Is It For?
Sunshine is a genuinely multi-generational festival, designed so that children, teenagers, parents and grandparents can come together, rather than a music festival that simply happens to allow children.
Children aged 12 and under go free with an adult ticket and must stay with a parent or guardian at all times. The festival operates a Challenge 21 policy.

General release tickets are launching for 2027:
- Adult weekend (Friday to Monday): £158
- Teen weekend: £100
- Thursday add-on: £28
- Children 12 and under: free

The Venue and Site
Fish Meadow sits on the edge of Upton upon Severn, with walking access into the town. The site is set up as a family camping festival venue.
Camping is included with eligible weekend tickets, with family, quiet and general camping areas. Campervans and caravans are permitted, and you can park next to your tent. Parking is free, and dogs are welcome free of charge.
Campsite facilities include toilets, hot showers, baby-changing facilities and wheelchair/easy-access toilets. The Refresh Area is being expanded for 2027 with more toilets and showers and improved access, while the VIP enclosure includes covered seating and luxury toilets.
