About App Fest UK
App Fest UK 2027 takes place at Hillworth Farm, Tewkesbury GL20 6AX, as a music festival built around live music, tribute acts and acoustic music.
Its roots go back to 2008, when Daniel Pardoe founded the Farmers Arms Apperley Festival near Tewkesbury. The event ran for 10 years at the Farmers Arms before moving to a bigger venue.
The scale changed in 2022. After two years of postponements, App Fest returned as a four-day celebration, with the 2023 edition listing Gabrielle, Republica, The Feeling, Starsailor and The Undertones among its acts.
The organisers allocate 750 pre-super early bird tickets each year. Day tickets are released only if capacity and availability allow because the site has a limited attendee licence.
Who Is It For?
The audience is all ages, with family and dog tickets listed in the 2027 ticket tiers. Children aged 4-17 need tickets; toddlers aged 0-3 are free.
Supervision rules are specific. Adults may supervise up to two children under nine or three children aged 10-17, and children must be supervised at all times.
Away from the stages, listed activities include funfair rides and games, inflatables, laser tag, face painting, temporary tattoos, massages, circus skills, escape rooms and garden games.
The Venue and Site
Hillworth Farm is a rural farm venue at Yardbridge, Longdon, near Tewkesbury. The organisers describe the site as having two stages and camping close to the main festival field.
On-site camping is split into tent and motorhome or campervan zones. Cars are moved to a separate car park, with the walk from campsite to arena listed at around 5-15 minutes depending on pitch.
Facilities listed for the site include toilets, showers, water points, lighting, running water, bins, security, food stalls, bars and cashless card payments at bars. There are no electricity or water hook-ups in the campsite.
