4–6 June 2027, Wychwood Festival runs at Cheltenham Racecourse in Prestbury, Cheltenham, as a music festival covering pop, indie rock, folk, world music and soul/funk.

2005 marked the first Wychwood Music Festival. A 2026 premises licence application sought a maximum site capacity of 14,999 people.

Lineup and Programme

The Human League are confirmed for Wychwood Festival 2027. The festival programme includes live music across multiple stages, with named areas including Sam’s Stage, Garden Stage, Howlin’ Pete’s, Comedy, Village Green and Barbara’s Story Box.

2025 was described by the festival as music, comedy, storytelling and creativity across multiple stages. Programme areas include stand-up comedy and cabaret, children’s literature sessions, storytelling, workshops, arts and crafts, dance, circus skills and a headphone/silent disco.

Who Is It For?

Under-10s go free at Wychwood Festival, but still need a ticket and adult accompaniment. Ages 10–15 have reduced-price tickets, and all under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The audience is family-oriented and mixed-age. The festival sells weekend, day and camping tickets, with programming beyond music including Village Green activities, comedy and Barbara’s Story Box.

The Venue and Site

Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Road, Prestbury, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL50 4SH is the festival venue. The site is described as compact and easy to get around, with four campsites beneath the Prestbury Hills.

Camping options include general camping, accessibility camping, a campervan and caravan field, Park & Pitch and boutique camping. Facilities include hot showers for campers, water refill points, six bars, toilets across the campsite and arena, accessible toilets at all toilet blocks, first aid, a free property lock-up and food traders with vegan, veggie and gluten-free options.

Cheltenham Spa railway station is the nearest train station for Wychwood Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse.

• Rail: Cheltenham Spa is the nearest railway station.
• Road: access is via M5 junctions 10, 11 and 11a; from the north on the M5, exit at junction 9 and take the A435 south.
• A40: the racecourse can be reached from the east and west by the A40.
• Entrance: the festival entrance is off Evesham Road and the racecourse roundabout.
• Parking: parking passes are required for driving attendees, and accessible parking is available close to the festival entrance.
• Cycling: 52 secure bicycle parks are located next to the racecourse entrances.

Cheltenham is about 110 miles from London, 43 miles from Bristol and 60 miles from Birmingham.
