Something Else in the Dean is the original Something Else Festival and its back for its fourth year in 2015. Celebrating an eclectic range of music and a community camp atmosphere, Something Else in the Dean takes over Elton Maize Mazes in late September.

The festival has a local and sustainable feel and their eco and community friendly ethos means the stage is solar powered, local ciders and ales are sourced and The Something Else Tea Tent offers coffees, teas and freshly made cakes. The festival has no sponsorship and is run on a grassroots level.

In addition to the live music line-up which has yet to be announced the festival has a fantastic crafts and children’s area with workshops on everything from willow weaving to pottery and cartooning.
