Mostly Jazz Festival Header
The Mostly Jazz Festival is excited to announced its full line-up with headliners Booker T, Matthew Herbert Big Band and The Cinematic Orchestra, all due to perform in Birmingham’s Moseley Park on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd July 2011. Set to surpass the success of 2010s inaugural event, and for the first time taking place over three days. Mostly Jazz Festival 2011 is extended to a three day line-up showcasing the diversity of contemporary jazz in all its forms. From avant-garde, free and modern jazz through to vocal, song based jazz, jazz-fusion and future jazz it’s also about considering jazz’s influence and relationship to other music art-forms such as Latin music, funk and soul.
