Oya Batucada
Oya Batucada is a traditional samba bateria based in Birmingham, UK. The group brings together around 40 adult percussion players performing Brazilian party and carnival music.
It is led by John Richardson, who has toured Brazil and played with samba musicians there. At performances, the group is often joined by Brazilian vocalist Monica Guerra and The Sons of Xango horn section.
