Love Saves 2026 returns to Ashton Court on the May bank holiday weekend, Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th May (TBC), kickstarting festival season in true Bristol style. Across 8 distinctive stages, we’ll showcase world-class artists from the UK and beyond, alongside a handpicked selection of Bristol’s finest local and emerging talent.

Now in its 13th year, Love Saves The Day has become a landmark in the city’s cultural calendar – Bristol’s biggest independent music festival and the place where summer officially begins.

Long Ashton Community Centre is conveniently located just a few miles from Bristol city centre. The nearest major train hub is Bristol Temple Meads, which has frequent services from London and other UK cities. If you're traveling by coach, Bristol Bus & Coach Station (at The Centre) is nearby. From these central points, continue by local bus or taxi – for example, Stagecoach operates regular services (such as the 505 or X7) from central Bristol through Clifton to Long Ashton. These buses stop within a short walk of the community centre, making it easy to reach the festival site without a car. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also readily available in Bristol for a direct trip.

Traveling by air? Bristol Airport (BRS) is the closest, located about 15 km (9 miles) south of the city. Regular coaches (like the Bristol Flyer/A1) connect the airport to Bristol city centre, from where you can catch onward buses to Long Ashton. London’s Heathrow Airport is also within reach: take a direct train from Heathrow or Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads (approximately 2 hours) and then proceed by local bus or taxi.

If you're driving, Long Ashton is easily reached via the motorway network. From the north or south, take the M5 and exit onto the A370 towards Bristol (J21). As you approach the city, follow signs for Ashton Court or Long Ashton. The festival address is Long Ashton Community Centre, Keedwell Hill, BS41 9DP (use for GPS). Some parking may be available on-site and in nearby streets on event days, but spaces fill up fast. The Long Ashton Park & Ride (Ashton Road) offers a convenient alternative: park there and catch a direct bus or metrobus to the festival entrance.

Bristol’s local bus network provides several options to reach Long Ashton. Services like the MetroBus M2 and Stagecoach X7 or X8 depart from central Bristol and travel through Clifton to Long Ashton. Check timetables online, but generally buses run frequently throughout the day on weekends. The Long Ashton Park & Ride is served by these routes, and it’s a short walk or local taxi ride from that stop to the community centre. Using the bus is a cost-effective way to avoid parking hassles.

For accommodation, Bristol has a wide range of options. Many visitors stay in city centre hotels or cosy B&Bs and then travel the few miles out to Long Ashton each day. Popular areas to stay include Clifton, the Harbourside, and the city centre (near Temple Meads), as they all offer convenient transport links. If you prefer a quieter setting, guesthouses and inns in Long Ashton village and nearby towns like Clevedon or Weston-super-Mare provide a more relaxed environment. Wherever you stay, it's wise to book early, as May is a busy time in the region and places can fill up quickly.

To plan your trip, consider using local journey planners and apps for up-to-date train and bus schedules. Getting to Long Ashton Community Centre is straightforward, leaving you free to focus on the fun. Whether you arrive by car, train, coach, or plane, giving yourself extra travel time will ensure you arrive stress-free. Enjoy the journey through Bristol’s picturesque surroundings, and we will see you at the festival!
