Special Request

Special Request is the alias of UK dance music producer and DJ Paul Woolford, who also works under the name Bobby Peru. He grows up in Leeds with his brother Mark and is influenced by the club night Back to Basics, where he later becomes a resident DJ. Woolford also holds a weekly residency at We Love Space, the long-running Sunday party at Space in Ibiza, from 2008.

He tours regularly as a guest DJ alongside his residencies and owns the record label Intimacy. Under his aliases, he is associated with underground club music, and the name Special Request appears on releases such as Erotic Discourse.
