SP:MC is a drum and bass MC associated with dubstep and UK bass culture. He represents Shogun Audio and Emcee Recordings, and also works with a wide range of drum and bass labels including Hospital, Renegade Hardware, Commercial Suicide, Prototype, Bassbin, Good Looking, Metalheadz, Quarantine, Digital Soundboy, Soul:R, Exit and Valve.

He establishes himself as one of the busiest and most innovative MCs on the circuit over a five-year period, and first gains wider recognition through his work with DJ Friction, who uses him as his MC of choice. He also becomes a resident at Emcee Monthly Sessions in London after MC GQ hears one of his early mixtapes.
