Galloway’s famous Celtic & Roots music festival is back at the end of May for four days of music fuelled fun. Held at Knockengorroch Farm in Carsphairn, Knockengorroch World Ceilidh celebrates folk culture and Celtic roots music with events for people of all ages.

Featuring musicians from around the world and a huge dance and arts programme too, the Knockengorroch World Ceilidh has kids’ events, arts workshops, session villages, open fires and more. There’s a Kids’ Marquee and creative activities throughout the festival with the childrens’ procession back for another year too.

Many acts have already been announced including: Young Fathers, Peatbog Faeries, Shooglenifty, Scratch Perverts, Mungo's Hi Fi Sound System, Aziza Brahim, John Langan, Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, Age Of Glass, Awry, Blackbeard's Tea Party, London Afrobeat Collective, No Go Stop, The Amphetameanies, Bunty Looping, Jeremy Mage, and Colonel Mustard and Dijon Five.
