About Call of the Wild Festival

Established in 2019, Call of the Wild Festival 2027 returns to Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln as a rock and metal music festival running 27-30 May.

The independent event is family friendly and was described by its official site as entering its sixth year in 2026. Its bill sits across rock and metal, taking in hard rock, classic rock, alternative and heavy metal.

Announced acts include These Wicked Rivers, CRASHDIET and Bullets & Octane. CRASHDIET are confirmed for the main stage on Sunday 30 May, while Bullets & Octane are confirmed for the Southall Lawless Stage.

Named stages for 2027 include the Kilmister Stage, Southall Lawless Stage and Trailblazer Stage. The Trailblazer competition sits on the programme as a grassroots route for emerging bands.

Lincolnshire Showground is around four miles north of Lincoln city centre, with the main festival entrance at Gate 1 off the A15.

  • Rail: Lincoln Central / Lincoln station is about 15 minutes by road. Newark North Gate is about 30 minutes by road.
  • Road: Access is via the A15 at Gate 1, with the A46 Lincoln by-pass and B1398 Middle Street / Burton Road listed for Gate 6.
  • Parking: Parking is in designated areas only. The campsite car park is around a 2-5 minute walk from the camping area, and all vehicles need a car park ticket.
