Smoking Snakes are a Swedish sleaze metal band formed in 2022. The line-up includes Brett Martin on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Andy Delarge on bass and backing vocals, Stan Ricci on drums and backing vocals, and Leo Razor on lead guitar and backing vocals. The band is based in Gothenburg.

Style and influences

Their sound is rooted in guitar-driven rock and sleaze metal, with clear influence from 1980s hard rock and heavy metal bands including W.A.S.P., RATT, Dokken and Kiss. Their music is presented as a modern take on that style, with rock and hard rock as the main tags associated with the band.

Releases

Their first release is the three-song EP Restless & Wild. The band also releases the single “Sole Survivors” and links it to the start of work on their debut full-length album Danger Zone.
