2016 is the inaugural Truefest, born out of Troyfest and it is an event which takes place at the heart of summer and is all about enjoying fantastic music in fantastic surroundings. The festival takes place from 5th to 7th August at Baskerville Hall in Hay on Wye, which sits on the Wales-England border.

The line-up so far includes: Jenna & The G's,Pink Oculus, K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, Lazy Habits, The Allergies , Afriquoi (Dj), The Future Dub Project, Madame Electrifie, DJ Cheeba, Johnny Cage & The Voodoogroove, Afro Cluster, Rumpsteppers, Ratcatcher, Monty Carlo, Hipicat, Bobbie Johnson, F - Block, Peaches & Cream, Nanobyte, Captain Accident & The Disasters, Jimanoli, Ravelston, Mansfield Green, Oisin, Grltlk, The Reggiments, Punk Rock Bowie, and Featherjaw, with more to be announced.

The festival also has the option of free camping with paid glamping experiences available and rooms in the hall available too. There is a fancy dress theme for this year and it is quite curiously ‘Monsters versus The Elderly’
