Broken Brass Ensemble
Broken Brass Ensemble is a Dutch brass group active since 2015. It mixes New Orleans brass traditions with hip hop, Balkan music, funk and fanfare, while also drawing on other influences. The ensemble has eight members, all young musicians, and combines swinging brass with tight percussion.
The group performs original material, but it also occasionally includes a cover in its live set. Its debut album, Brasshopper, appears in 2015.
