You will find Marsden off the A62, around 11 miles east of Oldham and 7 miles west of Huddersfield.  If you are using a sat nav, use the postcode HD7 6BW to find the right place.

As Marsden is on the mail railway route between Leeds and Manchester there is an hourly service that runs between Huddersfield and Manchester Victoria, with various connections to Leeds and many other places.

Huddersfield to Marsden: 15 minutes past the hour – takes just 13 minutes

Manchester Victoria to Marsden: Friday & Saturday: 57 minutes past the hour; Sunday (pm): 13 minutes past the hour

Marsden to Huddersfield: Friday and Saturday: 29 minutes past the hour; last train at 23.32; Sunday: 45 minutes past the hour; last train at 22:28; To Leeds (from Huddersfield) Friday and Saturday late trains: 23.52 & 00.21

There are regular connections from Huddersfield bus station(every 10 minutes Friday, Saturday daytime). Return services from Marsden run until after 23.00.

There are hourly bus services that run by First westbound until 8PM on Friday and Saturday and go the Carriage House venue, Manchester, Oldham and Saddleworth.
