For two days in September the small village of Ullapool on the shores of Loch Broom in Scotland comes alive with bands, music and festival activities as the Loopallu Festival comes to town.
Despite the petite size of this festival don't underestimate the line up, well known and local artists come to play at this beautiful festival. Acts such as Paolo Nutini, Idlewild, Turin Brakes, Mumford & Sons, Franz Ferdinand, The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls and more have played at this festival proving it has music for everyone of all ages.
Aside from the music there is entertainment all over the site, with performances taking place at the Big Top, Beer Tent, Drop in Music Tent and fringe events. You will never go hungry with the good food and drink on offer here, most of it sourced locally.
