Crobot

Crobot is a rock group from Pottsville, United States, active since 2011. Their sound is described as blues rock, hard rock, rock and stoner rock, with influences that include Clutch, Wolfmother, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden.

Line-up

The group consists of Chris Bishop, Brandon Yeagley, Jake Figueroa and Paul Figueroa. Brandon Yeagley handles vocals and harp, and Chris Bishop plays guitar and contributes vocals. In earlier descriptions of the band, Sam Grim is named on bass and Tony Kobel on percussion.

Style and writing

Crobot is associated with heavy, riff-led songs and a mix of hard rock force and blues-based playing. Brandon Yeagley writes the lyrics, while Chris Bishop contributes a visual dimension through his art. The pair also plan a graphic novel based on songs from an album, intended for a later release.
