About Belsonic
A 15,000-capacity run at Ormeau Park, Belfast puts Belsonic 2027 in the city-park lane for live music across folk, pop and rock. The festival launched in 2008. Belfast City Council approvals have covered Ormeau Park concert runs across 2019–2021 and 2023–2025.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include Kingfishr, Sombr, Amble and Take That. The genre profile follows the announced bill: folk, pop and rock. The bill is concert-led. Programme activity centres on watching headline concerts, with food and drink sold on site.
Who Is It For?
Belsonic is aimed at a general live-music audience. General Admission allows under-16s with a ticket-holding parent or guardian aged 25+, with each guardian able to sign in up to two under-16s. Minimum age is 5. Front Standing is 10+, and ages 10–16 need a ticket-holding parent or guardian aged 25+.
The Venue and Site
Ormeau Park gives Belsonic a city-park site close to Belfast city centre. The arena is open-air and fully standing, with one main entrance and gates listed at 6pm. There is no camping. On-site facilities include catering, bars and a lost property booth open 5pm–11pm on show nights. Accessibility provision covers an accessible platform plus accessible toilets, including Changing Places facilities. There is no cloakroom or locker facility.
