Back for its ninth outing in 2016 Southern Fried Festival is Perth’s annual celebration of American Roots Music. This year’s festival is being held from 29th June to 2nd July and it is held in venues across Perth and Kinross including The Salutation Hotel and Perth Concert Hall.

The line-up for 2016 incorporates acts from both the US and closer to home and those confirmed include: Nick Lowe, Paul Carrack & Andy Fairweather Low, Imelda May, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gretchen Peters, Anna & Elizabeth, Fred Wesley & The New JB's, Red Pine Timber Company, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis, with more acts still to be announced.

There will also be workshops, events for the kids, BBQ food available and an atmosphere that combines the best of Scotland and the best of Americana.
