Jo Harman

Jo Harman is a British soul and blues singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom, originally from Luton, England. She performs in a style that draws on blues, soul and blues rock, and is known as a live vocalist with a strong stage presence.

Career

Harman begins to attract attention through performances at The Great Escape festival and by headlining London venues including the 606 and Hideaway. At Hideaway, she records her first live album. She performs with her own band, and the group appears on the festival circuit at events including Meadowlands, Chagstock and North Devon Festival.

Her live work also includes support slots for Marlena Shaw, Terry Callier and Average White Band, which adds to her reputation as a soulful, blues-focused performer and songwriter.
