For 2027, doof In The Park returns to Camperdown Country Park, Dundee, as an open-air hard house, techno, trance and hard dance music event.

Hannah Laing first unveiled the Dundee festival in October 2024, when 10,000 tickets were reported as snapped up in an hour. The debut followed on 5 July 2025 and drew about 15,000 attendees. The format moved quickly.

The 2027 edition is billed as the third edition and is announced for Saturday 3 July 2027. The reported capacity is 17,000.

Lineup and Programme

Hannah Laing sits at the centre of the bill as curator and headliner for the Dundee homecoming event. Announced acts include Hannah Laing.

The festival’s music focus runs through hard house, techno, trance and hard dance. It is DJ-led.

Stage names listed for the festival include Doof for Life, Up the Doof, HIGHLANDER / The Highlander and Keep It Fucking Moving. The 2026 edition was reported as a four-stage format.

Who Is It For?

The crowd is adult electronic-dance rather than family festival territory. It is strictly over 18s.

Hannah Laing said 2025 ticket data showed the biggest buyer group was aged 34–49. Photographic ID is required for entry, with passport and full or provisional driving licence listed as accepted ID.

The Venue and Site

Camperdown Country Park is Dundee’s largest public park, around 3 miles northwest of the city centre. The festival runs as an open-air park event.

On-site facilities include several bars, food and drink traders, free drinking water, water points, first aid teams and a dedicated medical centre. A wellbeing hub and Crew 2000 harm-reduction support are also listed.

There is no campsite. Camping in the car parks and sleeping in vehicles are not permitted, while accessible platform access and accessible parking are available by pre-booking.

Camperdown Country Park sits around 3 miles northwest of Dundee city centre. Dundee Railway Station is the nearest listed station, about 3 miles from the park.
