About Love Supreme Jazz Festival

Launched in 2013, Love Supreme Jazz Festival 2027 returns to Glynde Place, Glynde, Lewes as a jazz-led music festival from 2–4 July 2027.

Neapolitan Music describes it as the first multi-day greenfield jazz festival in the UK, with attendance close to 50,000 across the weekend. The daily capacity is 15,000. Jazz sits at the centre, with soul and R&B close by; disco, hip-hop, global sounds and underground dance music are also part of the brief.

Lineup and Programme

The North Downs main stage carries the top end of the bill, while South Downs runs as The Big Tent. The programme runs late.

  • North Downs, the main stage
  • South Downs, The Big Tent
  • Supreme Standards
  • New Generation Jazz
  • Blue In Green
  • Bands & Voices
  • One Jazz
  • Jazz Lounge

Around the arena programme sit late-night jazz sets, talks and panel discussions, workshops and dance sessions. Spoken word, dance battles, wellness sessions, food and drink experiences and Little Supremos family activity are also listed. Supremium ticket holders have access to secret pop-up performances and after-parties.

Who Is It For?

Love Supreme Jazz Festival draws a cross-generational audience split across jazz, soul, hip-hop and R&B rather than a single-era jazz crowd.

Families are part of the plan. The site includes Little Supremos family programming and family ticket options. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over; adults aged 18–20 can accompany one under-16, while adults aged 21+ can accompany up to four under-16s. Bars run Challenge 25.

The Venue and Site

Glynde Place puts the festival on lawns in a South Downs setting at BN8 6SX.

Camping is on site. The layout includes General Camping, Premium/Supremium Camping, Glamping and Pre-Pitched options, plus a Live-In Vehicle field. Campsites have toilets and showers; water points sit in both the campsites and arena. Medical, info and welfare tents operate on site, with phone charging, lockers, pick-up/drop-off, a wellness area and premium-area Wi-Fi also listed.

    Love Supreme Comes of Age

"Sun drenched, super chill and often exhilarating, Love Supreme was a total delight this year. I've always enjoyed this jazz and soul festival, but this time around – its 14th year – there was something tangibly different in the air"

"This year the weather wasn’t kind to Love Supreme. No matter though, it clearly takes more than heavy showers, wind and grey clouds to dampen the jazz temperament."

Soul/Jazz festival Love Supreme serves up FOMO feast

"The first rule of FOMO is you can’t go to everything. Or perhaps, seeing as we are all one – as I’m sure free-flowing hippie and afternoon wonder act Joss Stone would agree "
