About Chiddfest
Chiddfest 2027 brings a three-day live music festival to Nash Street, Chiddingly, Hailsham, East Sussex, with live music, tribute acts and a 90s night on the bill.
The event dates are 23–25 July 2027. It began in 2014 with fewer than 500 people; organisers now put annual attendance at 3,500+ festival-goers.
The festival has a charity link with St Wilfrid’s Hospice. A family barn fundraiser for the proposed hospice raised more than £1,100 in the early 1980s.
Who Is It For?
The audience is family-friendly and multi-generational, covering children, adults and first-time festivalgoers. First-timers are named directly.
Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Ages 16+ can attend without an adult; children aged 5–15 need child tickets, while ages 0–4 are free with a ticket.
Family zones, a kiddies club and kids’ activities sit alongside the music programme. Wellbeing tent activity includes yoga and stretching.
The Venue and Site
Nash Street sits outside Hailsham in East Sussex, with the festival address given as BN27 4AA.
Camping and glamping run on site. Weekend camping and main arena access tickets include tent pitches from Friday through Monday midday; early arrival check-in is listed for Thursday 23 July, 12:00–20:00.
Caravans, campervans and trailer tents need a live-in vehicle pass, and there is no electric hook-up. The campsite has toilets, showers, water points, a chemical waste point and waste disposal.
The arena and campsite include disabled toilets. Accessibility camping and parking are for blue badge holders only, and the campsite is covered by tower lights and steward/security patrols.
