Derby Folk Festival

2013 will see the seventh Derby Folk Festival take place, at its home of the Assembly Rooms in Derby.

The festival is co-produced by Derby LIVE and PR Promotions and takes place throughout every inch of space that the Assembly Rooms has to offer.  There are concerts in the Great Hall and Darwin Suite, Folk Club events in the foyers, sessions, dance displays, workshops, craft stalls – and a great atmosphere throughout the weekend.

In the heart of the Cathedral Quarter and located less than a five minute walk from the festival venues, the stunning new build Jurys Inn Derby offers 213 bedrooms, a contemporary restaurant, stylish bar, Costa Coffee, a Cardio Gym and  Wi-Fi.

The 45 Suite is a relaxed space within the Assembly Rooms, used as the Food Lounge throughout the weekend. The coffee bar is open throughout with hot and cold drinks and snacks.

The Darwin Bar is the Real Ale (and most other beverages if you prefer) Bar for the weekend, with a delicious selection of ales from The Leadmill Brewery – a fabulous local brewery located in Denby, just a few miles North of Derby.
