Union Jill is a UK harmony duo made up of Helen Turner, from Hull, and Sharon Winfield, from Huddersfield. They perform together from 2006 and work in an acoustic folk-based style that combines traditional instrumentation with a more contemporary edge and strong vocal harmony.

The pair record original material and build their songs around lyrics that tell stories. Their writing covers historical themes, contemporary issues, personal experiences and protest songs. They begin as the duo Two and record two albums on Soup Records under that name before releasing a third album, Respectable Rebellion, as Union Jill.
