April Verch

April Verch is a Canadian fiddle player, stepdancing champion and singer from Rankin, Canada. Her music is rooted in the fiddling traditions of the Ottawa Valley, and her repertoire draws on traditional and contemporary material from a wide range of sources. These include Quebecois music, Appalachian styles, bluegrass and Brazilian influences.

Verch tours and records under her own name and also fronts the April Verch Band. She has also toured with Bowfire. Her releases appear on April Verch Music.

Her work is associated with bluegrass and folk, alongside broader Celtic and country influences.
