Happening now!
Hailing from Atlanta, Deerhunter have also been one of the most exciting up and coming bands in rock music in the last decade - with side projects Atlas Sound from Bradford Cox and Lotus Plaza from Lockett Pundt also grabbing huge acclaim and helping to build their very dedicated fanbase. They are long time ATP regulars (and favourites) and we're very happy to have them head the bill - they will play three different sets, each showcasing a performance of one of their LPs "Cryptograms", "Microcastle" and "Halcyon Digest" in full. There will be an Atlas Sound show, and Deerhunter will also of course be picking the rest of the June festival line-up. Their event takes place at Pontins, Camber Sands from Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd June 2013.

A statement from the band: "ATP has been a part of our lives as Deerhunter for many years now and it's a great honour to be asked to curate."

The first set of artists chosen by Deerhunter for the event will be confirmed very soon!

The events takes place at Pontins Holiday Camp, East Sussex over three days from Friday - Sunday. Check in begins on Friday at midday/noon and Check out occurs on Monday morning at 10am sharp. The events are held in a holiday resort so all tickets include a pass to the festival + 3 nights accommodation in private apartments. Each chalet is self-catering and has a small kitchen with cooking/dining utensils included, bathroom with either a shower or bath and of course a sink & toilet. The TV area doubles as a bedroom with a roll out sofa bed, and then there will either be one or two bedrooms with the relevant numbers of beds. Bedding is included in the chalets. The TV has a channel programmed by the curators and ATP.

So you stay on site in your own private accommodation with your friends for 3 nights and you ALSO get a pass to see all of the bands perform over 3 days, plus bar with DJs until early in the morning, free cinema programme, use of site facilities and much more! Apart from nursing a huge hangover, there is a swimming pool, go-karts which are both free of charge, arcades, a beautiful beach across the road, the local pubs and of course Rye Village where there are some very nice places to eat.

Camber Sands is easily accessible via train to Rye (followed by a short bus/taxi ride). High speed trains now run from London St Pancras to Ashford International and take just 37 minutes, then change at Ashford International for a train to Rye (18 minutes).
