Tom Tom Club

Tom Tom Club is a group from Nassau, United States, formed in 1981 and active since then. It is centred on Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz, both of whom are also members of Talking Heads. The project works within classic pop and rock, with links to new wave, synth pop, alternative and pop.

Recording and songs

The group begins recording albums in 1981 and builds a reputation around several well-known tracks, including “Genius of Love”, “Under the Boardwalk”, “Wordy Rappinghood” and “Pleasure of Love”.
