About Loud Women Fest
For 2026, Loud Women Fest lands at Le Pub in Newport, Wales, for a one-day punk, indie, alternative and DIY music bill. It runs on Saturday 3 October at the community-owned High Street venue, a 100-capacity room established in 1992. This is the first full LOUD WOMEN festival in Wales.
Lineup and Programme
Two stages carry the programme. The main stage is inside Le Pub, with a stripped-back outdoor acoustic stage running alongside it. The bill spans punk and indie, with alternative and DIY acts also in the frame.
LOUD WOMEN’s 15 June announcement named 11 artists for this edition. Artists are drawn from Wales, the rest of the UK, Europe and the USA. Live music runs through the afternoon and evening, finishing at 10.30pm.
Who Is It For?
Entry is listed as 16+. The audience reading is grassroots music fans around punk, indie, alternative and DIY, with LOUD WOMEN’s positioning centred on women-led and non-binary artists. Le Pub notes that age restrictions can vary by event.
The Venue and Site
Le Pub sits at 14 High Street, Newport NP20 1FW. The venue moved to High Street in 2017 after its original building was sold, and marked its 30th anniversary in 2022. Capacity is 100.
The bar area is fully accessible without ramps; a ground-floor accessible toilet is listed, ramp access is available on request, and a free personal assistant ticket is available on request. Le Pub runs a fully vegan menu and stocked bar before and during the event.
