2000trees Festival 2027 is a rock, punk, indie and alternative music festival at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL54 4BL.

The festival was established in 2007 by music festival veterans. The current 2027 ticket listing brands the event as the 20th Anniversary Special and lists a run from Wed 7 Jul 2027 at 12:00 PM to Sun 11 Jul 2027 at 3:00 PM.

The festival has a 15,000 capacity, and official ticketing pages state that Trees won Best Festival in 2018, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Who Is It For?

Under-18s are allowed with an accompanying adult, and the festival states that there is no minimum age. Challenge 25 applies for alcohol purchases.

The audience is mostly rock, punk, indie and alternative fans, with a camping-oriented crowd and an explicit family audience. Family camping is part of the site setup.

The Venue and Site

Upcote Farm is a working sheep farm in the Cotswolds hills, with mostly grassy farmland on a slope. The site is compact and about 500m at its longest point.

Main Stage and Neu sit at the bottom of the site, The Cave and The Axiom are in the centre, and Word Stage and Forest Sessions are higher up. The festival has one main entrance, with straightforward navigation from the car park and shuttle drop-off.

Camping is included with all tickets except day tickets or where specified. Options include family camping, VIP camping with a VIP upgrade, accessible camping, campervans and glamping.

Facilities include 24/7 security and stewards, a 24-hour first aid and welfare centre with a dedicated safe space, accessible viewing platforms at all stages except the very small Word Stage, water taps in all campsites, lockers, a general store and cashless payments. Food traders advertise vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices all weekend.

Cheltenham Spa is the nearest train station, and the festival says a shuttle bus will run from the station to the site.
