WOMAD Festival returns to Neston Park, Wiltshire, from 22 – 25 July 2027 for another incredible celebration of music, arts, dance, food and culture from around the world.

Standing for World of Music, Arts and Dance, WOMAD is one of the UK's most unique and colourful festivals. Rather than focusing on a single genre, WOMAD brings together musicians and performers from across the globe, giving festival-goers the chance to discover everything from traditional sounds and folk to reggae, African music, jazz, electronic music and contemporary global artists.

Music is only part of the WOMAD experience. Across the festival you'll find free workshops led by musicians and dancers, talks, global food, children's entertainment, wellbeing activities and visual arts, creating a festival that is particularly popular with families and adventurous music fans.

WOMAD 2027 Line-Up

The WOMAD Festival 2027 line-up is yet to be announced.

WOMAD is renowned for booking an eclectic international programme, combining established performers with artists and musical styles you may never have encountered before.

Keep checking UKFestivalGuides for the latest WOMAD 2027 line-up announcements, stage information and festival news as they're revealed.

WOMAD 2027 Tickets

2027 ticket prices are currently to be confirmed.

As a guide, adult weekend tickets for WOMAD 2026 were approximately £225–£285, depending on the number of days and ticket tier.

Estimated average adult weekend ticket price: around £260

This should be treated as a guide based on previous pricing rather than the confirmed price for WOMAD 2027. Early ticket tiers may be cheaper, while later tiers and additional camping, vehicle or parking options can increase the overall cost.

Camping at WOMAD

WOMAD is a camping festival, allowing visitors to stay on site and enjoy the full weekend experience.

Expect standard camping alongside additional accommodation and live-in vehicle options, subject to confirmation for 2027. Families are well catered for, making WOMAD a popular choice for festival-goers bringing children.

More Than Music

One of the things that sets WOMAD apart from many UK festivals is the huge programme taking place away from the main music stages.

Festival-goers can discover music and dance workshops, watch artists cook dishes from their home countries at Taste the World, explore contemporary visual art and installations, listen to talks and discussions, or relax with wellbeing experiences.

There's also a dedicated World of Children, with activities and entertainment designed especially for younger festival-goers.

Chippenham has rail connections that make it a useful arrival point for festival-goers travelling from elsewhere in the UK. WOMAD is expected to publish further information about onward travel to Neston Park ahead of the 2027 festival.

If you're travelling by train, allow additional time to get from Chippenham station to the festival site and check the latest WOMAD travel information before setting off.

Travelling by Car

Drivers should follow the official WOMAD Festival directions and event signage when approaching Neston Park rather than relying solely on their sat nav, particularly during the busiest festival arrival periods.

Car parking is available for WOMAD, but a separate car parking ticket is required under the festival's current arrangements.

Detailed driving directions, recommended routes, arrival information and 2027 parking arrangements are expected to be released closer to the festival.

Parking at WOMAD

Festival parking is separate from the camping areas, with the current WOMAD site layout keeping cars and tents apart except within designated Park & Camp areas.

The campsites are currently described by WOMAD as being approximately 5–10 minutes' walk from the main festival site.

If you're planning to bring a campervan, motorhome or other live-in vehicle, you'll need the appropriate Live-In Vehicle ticket rather than a standard car parking ticket. Sleeping in vehicles outside designated live-in vehicle areas is not permitted.

Travelling by Bus

There are local bus services serving the area around Neston Park. Specific public transport arrangements and any additional festival services for WOMAD 2027 have yet to be announced.

Check the official festival travel information closer to July 2027 before planning the final part of your journey.

Plan Your Journey in Advance

WOMAD attracts visitors from across the UK and overseas, so expect roads and public transport around the festival to be busier during the main Thursday and Friday arrival periods and again when campers leave after the festival.

Booking train travel early can help secure cheaper fares, while anyone driving should purchase the correct parking or live-in vehicle pass in advance where required.
