Underneath the Stars Festival is a festival of music, arts and food. It is a collaboration between Barnsley folk singer-songwriter Kate Rusby, her family production team and one of the finest Yorkshire visitor attractions and quality food producer Cannon Hall Open Farm run by the Nicholson Family.

The idea stems from a series of concerts held on previous years at the farm to raise funds for local projects such as the local Cawthorne Cricket Club, Church and Preschool. Now the aim is to develop those concerts into a weekend of world class entertainment based in the region of South Yorkshire.

The site will be packed with a whole host of family activities including a Giant Planetarium Dome, hands on creative crafts, street theatre, storytelling, music & dance workshops and quality artisan craft traders, award winning street food, real ale bar, weekend camping with hot showers, glamping from Glampit and full run of all that Cannon Hall Open Farm has to offer.

This year acts invcude Newton Faulkner, Show of Hands, Kate Rusby, Lucy Rose, Edward II, Roddy Woomble and many more.
