About Love To Be Festival
Love to be began at the Music Factory in Sheffield in 1994. For 2027, Love To Be Festival is scheduled for Saturday 4 September on The Stray, Harrogate, with house, disco and electronic music across a one-day open-air site.
The Harrogate edition moved to 6,000 capacity in 2025 and sold out. For 2026, the site was overhauled with a larger main stage and a Music Factory Stage.
Lineup and Programme
The music runs across the Main Stage, Music Factory Stage and VIP arena, centred on house with disco and electronic sets in the mix.
It is built for dancing. Site entertainment also includes dancers alongside stilt walkers and fire breathers, with food and drink traders operating during the day.
Who Is It For?
This is an adult house crowd rather than a family day out. Entry is strictly 18+, with ID checks at the entrance and bars, plus a Challenge 25 policy.
The audience runs across generations of clubbers, with the programme focused on DJ sets, live performance and open-air dance music.
The Venue and Site
The Stray gives the festival a city-centre parkland setting in Harrogate. The site is an open-air green-field build, with no camping permitted.
Facilities include food traders with vegetarian and vegan options, bars and soft drinks, a medical and welfare team, recycling points, a VIP garden and premium seating.
