The 35th Orkney Folk Festival has been confirmed for 2017. The Orkney Folk Festival takes place in and around Stromness, Orkney Islands in Scotland. The festival will take place from 25th until 28th May 2017.

The line-up for Orkney will include both many recognisable names in the world of Scottish and International folk music and also a large component of new and emerging artists. There are over 30 individual events at the festival with ceilidhs, sessions and workshops for festival goers of all ages.
