Music in the Park, held every year since 2011, is a family-fun event featuring live music and dance acts to please kids, teens, parents and grannies alike! The music festival is held in Elms Park, Thame Oxfordshire on a Sunday in May and runs all day from noon until around 9pm.

They always have some great acts that get everybody up and dancing, tribute bands, singer / songwriters, local and school bands. There are two stages running consecutively right next to each other, so bring a picnic, pitch your blanket and enjoy the day. There's also the 'Crash Music tent' for acoustic performances and don't miss Ben's Buskstop* where anyone can turn up and play.

There's plenty of food and drink - we normally have a couple of licensed bars selling wine, Pimms and real ales. To complement your own picnic, there are plenty of stalls selling hot and cold food such as pizza, hog roasts, Thai and currys, plus cakes & sweets. Children can be left to enjoy a range of fun activities in the capable hands of trained volunteers, allowing their parents to enjoy the music and see the rest of the attractions at their own pace.

In tribute to Thame’s much-loved Ben Guest, we’re pleased to confirm that “Ben’s Buskstop” is back. This is a spot in the park, marked by a “Buskstop”, where anyone who feels like it can come and entertain people with acoustic music or some other talent. We feel this will bring a smile to everyone’s face, just as Ben did!
