About ChorFest
ChorFest started in July 2021, then moved away from its marquee setup for an open-air arena in front of Astley Hall. The 2027 edition runs 6–8 August at Astley Park, Chorley, Lancashire, as an outdoor music festival built around rock and pop. The site sits within Astley Park.
The format is tied to UK tribute acts, local artists and singalong sets, with food and drink vendors on site. Licensed bars serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Fold-up chairs and picnic blankets are allowed.
Who Is It For?
ChorFest is pitched at a family-friendly, multi-generational crowd. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dedicated family areas and kids entertainment sit alongside space to roam.
The setup also suits seated viewing, with picnic areas and permission for fold-up chairs or blankets. The audience leans toward singalong sets rather than a late-night camping format.
The Venue and Site
Astley Hall is the physical anchor, with the open-air arena set in front of the hall inside Astley Park. The move away from a marquee layout increased the available space, and the site was reworked again in 2026.
Facilities include food and drink vendors, licensed bars, dedicated family areas, kids entertainment, seating and picnic areas. Camping is not part of the confirmed site information.
