Thistle

Thistle is a Seattle ambient and experimental project associated with the Ventricle label. It is formed by Danielle Sklar, who handles vocals, and Kelly Thistle, who provides effects. The project is also linked with dark ambient and folk influences.

Several other acts use the name Thistle. One is a rock band that has released albums on its own Tiberius Records label since 1994. Another is a San Francisco band that later changes its name to Thistle LLC and records the album Love Not Dead with producer Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads.
