About Brick Lane Jazz Festival

Across ten venues on and around Brick Lane, Brick Lane Jazz Festival 2027 brings a jazz-led music festival programme to London from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 April.

The festival traces back to a 2022 archive on its official site and returns for its sixth year in 2027. The bill sits where jazz meets hip-hop, neo-soul, R&B, broken beat and electronic music. Capacity is listed at approximately 5,000 per day.

The programme runs across named rooms on and around Brick Lane. The stages are named plainly.

Brick Lane Conference runs from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 April via Pro Pass options. Its programme lists talks and workshops, mentoring sessions and networking mixers, with exhibits, live radio broadcasts and performances also part of the strand.

DJ sets and club-style showcases sit alongside live performances across the walkable site.

Who Is It For?

The audience is open-minded jazz and adjacent underground-music fans, with an explicit focus on emerging talent and the wider grassroots London music community.

Age access varies by venue. Under-18s may enter selected venues until 19:00, Village Underground live shows are 16+ with each 16–17-year-old accompanied by one responsible adult, and 93 Feet East is 18+ at all times.

All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult over 26. Children under 16 attend free of charge with photo ID.

The Venue and Site

The Truman Brewery at 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL is the base, with venues spread across Brick Lane and Ely’s Yard.

Eight festival venues sit within a minute’s walk. Rich Mix and Mad Cats are four to five minutes away, and Village Underground is about 12 minutes away.

Most participating venues are wheelchair accessible, except Ninety One. Disabled toilets are listed at participating venues except Ninety One and Brick Lane Tap Room.

Free companion, carer or personal assistant tickets are available. Seating is free and not bookable across festival venues, and medics are on site at various locations.

The festival is based at the Truman Brewery and nearby venues around Brick Lane, Hanbury Street, Dray Walk and Ely’s Yard in east London.
