Marie Dahlstrom

Marie Dahlstrom is a Danish vocalist, producer and songwriter working in soul, R&B, neo-soul, pop and alternative pop. She lives between London and Copenhagen and cites influences including Musiq Soulchild, India Arie and Lars Jansson.

Releases

Her debut album, Like Sand, comes out in 2020 and is recorded between Los Angeles, Copenhagen and London. It includes collaborations with James Vickery, Jeremy Passion, Elijah Fox, Conor Albert and Beau Diako. Her second album, A Good Life, is released in 2023.

Before Like Sand, she releases a series of EPs: 0.0 in 2016, Nine in 2017 and Kanel in 2018. In 2021 she issues two more EPs, Safe Place and the collaborative 4inARow, the latter made with regular collaborator Dan Diggas and Canadian rapper Aligo.

Recognition

Her work receives press support and praise from outlets including Billboard, NPR, NYLON and Complex, and she also receives co-signs from The Joe Budden Podcast. Her music receives regular radio play from BBC 1Xtra DJs Jamz Supernova, DJ Target and Toddla T, as well as from Jyoty on Rinse FM.
